Industrial Chain

What is the purpose of industrial chain ?

Industrial chain provide a straightforward solution to transferring mechanical energy in industrial equipment with their exclusive design   .

Examining some examples of industrial chains and their applications in the industry:

This type of industrial chain in the chain industry transmits mechanical (moving) power to various machines and is maintained by having short cylindrical rollers with a series of side pins. Finally, this equipment moves with the help of gears. Among the machines are:

1- Press

2- All kinds of domestic and agricultural machinery

3- Devices designed with wire and pipe

4- Engines

5- bikes

Considering the difficulty and unfavorable user environment of this equipment, it should have the highest level of wear tolerance.

Therefore, it must have significant hardness and resistance in messy and dirty environments such as agricultural land or bicycles.

One of the advantages of this equipment (roller chain) is the reduction of friction and wear in the machines.

It is interesting to know that the reason for the lower wear of the roller chain is due to the presence of the chain bush sleeves and the optical contact with the angular teeth.

This characteristic has caused the resistance of this industrial chain to increase.

Chain wheels are other industrial parts that have advantages in the industry, which we will examine further.

Their benefits include:

  1. Capability and good performance in different environments, including environments with high temperature and heat, environments full of dust, acidic and alkaline environments.

2- Very high tension in power transmission .

3- Not sensitive to water and rusting, not easy to corrode .

4- High efficiency .

5- Possibility of simultaneous transmission of power to several axes .

Industrial chain structure :

the heavy –duty chain is constructed by thicker inner and outer link plates over standard chains  .

This minor improves boosts the chain working load and fatigue resistance while enduring more persistent  and heavier shock loads  .
